I've been learning about aluminium welding recently too, and youre right - it's really addictive! It's just a shame it's so expensive - currently I'm borrowing a TIG welder from a mate, need to get hold of my own but just don't have the dough at the minute!
Does your tig machine have a timed phase arc? I love welding aluminum with phase control. Get a rhythm going. How was Monroe?
ReplyDeleteNo it is a syncrowave 180 sd ... Straight argon . Lathanated tungsten . Running pedal at 120 amps .. Fuck i didnt get to monroe !! Got jammed on ride
